Biography

Rossana Terracciano received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. She was M.Sc. thesis student at Politecnico di Torino developing low-cost electronic systems for ophthalmological diagnostics. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate in Electronics Engineering at Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, Politecnico di Torino, Italy, and member of the Micro&Nano Electronic Systems (MiNES) research group, chaired by Prof. Danilo Demarchi at Politecnico di Torino. Her Ph.D project relates to Implantable Nanotechnologies for Biomedical Therapeutic Applications and it is carried out in collaboration with the Department of Nanomedicine, Houston Methodist Research Institute, Houston, TX, USA, in the lab of Dr. Carly S. Filgueira, PhD.
Her current interests include the design of biomedical applications, biosignals and bioimages processing, nanomedicine and nanotechnologies.
