Biography

Alessandro Pedico received both the Bachelor Degree in Physical Engineering and the Master Degree in Nanotechnologies for ICTs at Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. During the master thesis titled "Fiber-based supercapacitors for wearable energy storage devices", he worked on wearable technolgies in Politecnico di Torino. From 2016 to 2017, he was a Scholarship holder at the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT), Politecnico di Torino. He worked on graphene-based materials for membrane-based technology for water purification. Since 2017, he is Ph.D. Candidate in Electronic Engineering at the DISAT. Interests include energy harvesting and recovering, carbon-based technology, water purification, material modification and functionalization, 2D materials, spectroscopy techniques. Alessandro Pedico was a tutor in the "Tecnologie per le Nanoscienze" and "Fisica II" courses at Politecnico di Torino.
