Biography

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from University of Bologna in 2014 and my master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2018.
During my Master's studies I spent 6 months in Aalborg University (Denmark) with the Erasmus project and 9 months in Brusa Elektronik AG (Switzerland) for my Master's thesis.
I am now enrolled in the 34th PhD cycle (2018-2021) at Politecnico di Torino and I have recently spent 8 months in ETH Zurich as a visiting researcher.
My overall research activity is mostly focused on vehicle electrification solutions, both on-board and off-board, such as traction power inverters, motor control, isolated and non-isolated DC/DC converters and battery chargers. Specifically, my PhD thesis activities are related to power electronic converters for electric vehicle ultra-fast charging (i.e. P ~ 350 kW).
