Biography

I graduated in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Turin in April 2015, where I spent almost two years studying the combination of modified gold nanoparticles and ultrasounds on cancer cells. In that period I had the chance to appreciate the advantages and the challenges of the research, and I began to be interested in nanodevices employed for the treatment of human and animal pathologies.
Now I am doing the PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at Politecnico of Turin, where I work in TNH Lab. My activity is focused on the study of the synergistic effects of ultrasound and shock waves, generated by different devices, and ZnO nanocrystals for the treatment of human carcinomas.
