Biography

After the M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering in 2015, I started working as a Ph.D student in Mechanical Engineering at Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Polytechnic of Turin, Italy. My current research activity includes:

development of perturbation devices for clinical posture analysis;
design of ankle-foot orthoses;
development of automatic systems for intermittent pneumatic compression;
postural control and motion analysis;
prosthetics for lower limb amputee.

Part of my research activity has been developed in partnership with Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute, Bologna (Italy), with Department of Neuroscience, University of Turin (Italy) and with Department of Physical Therapy, Tel Aviv University (Israel). During my Ph.D, I have been teacher assistant in "Applied Mechanics to Biomedical Systems" (M.Sc. Biomedical Engineering) and in "Applied Mechanics and Machines" (B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering).
