Biography

Flavio Giobergia is a PhD candidate at Politecnico di Torino. Flavio's main research interests cover situations where only limited supervision can be provided, in particular unsupervised learning, semi-supervised learning, and domain transfer, with a focus on their applications in solving real-world problems. As a TA for the Data Science Lab course, Flavio is dedicated to helping students understand the applied aspects of data science, with a practical approach: he believes that the ability to analyze and interpret data is becoming increasingly important in today's world and thus finds it invaluable to teach adopting a hands-on approach to the field.
