Biography

In the first months of 2016 I graduated defending my Master Thesis in France and later in Italy as the final step of the double degree program between Politecnico di Torino and TélécomParisTech which I have been selected for in September 2014.
I started my student career at the Politecnico di Torino, at the beginning in the Telecommunication field during my bachelor’s degree. Afterwards I specialized in the Computer Networks field during the Master’s degree, gaining the chance of spending 18 months in a French University, TélécomParisTech of Paris, in particular in one of its sites called Eurecom. The latter is a Graduate school and Research Centre in Communication Systems located in the Sophia Antipolis technology park (French Riviera), a major European place for telecommunications and data science activities.
As part of this program I carried out a six-month internship in Eurecom. My task consisted in encapsulating LTE software components inside entities called “charms” with the goal of providing dynamic network services, by automatically managing the installation, the configuration, the communication and the scalability on different infrastructures.
At the end of the internship for the thesis achievement I joined Avanade Italy to work as a Web Developer in their delivery center in Cagliari until March 2017.
In may 2017 I joined the Telecommunication Networks Group with a scolarship to work on a project for FASTWEB S.P.A aiming to find network dimensioning policies for future residential access line scenarios.
In november 2017 I became a PhD student in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Interdepartmental Centre for SmartData at Politecnico di Torino.
My research interests are in the fields of deep learning, image processing, super-resolution and denoising.
During my academic and working path I came into contact with different fields so I can assert to have knowledge and skills in different branches of IT domain. Along the way I learnt how to behave in a team and to be collaborative. The combination of my academic background, team-working capabilities and strong motivations in improving skills helps me to succeed both in the theoretical subjects that in practical projects. I bring along a lot of curiosity, enthusiasm and desire to learn.
