Biography

Roberta Fusaro is an Assistant Professor at the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department of Politecnico di Torino. She is member of the Design of aerospace systems and technologies Research Team since 2013. She got a PhD in Aerospace Engineering of the same University with a Dissertation entitled "Comparative Analysis of new configurations of aircraft aimed at competitiveness, environment compatibility and safety". Her main research interests are focused on the definition of innovative conceptual design methodologies for high-speed aerospace systems. The main goal is to anticipate at conceptual design stage the evaluation of the economic sustainability, the technological feasibility and the environmental compatibility of the concept. Roberta is actively contributing to the Horizon 2020 STRATOFLY project (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/769246), MORE&LESS Project (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101006856), research activities funded by the European Space Agency and she is collaborating with several Italian and International research centres (e.g. CIRA, VKI, DLR, etc...)
