Career Boost 4PhD - Opening of Registrations
During the Phd journey it is quite likely for you to focus primarily on your research, often without having the time or resources to take into consideration your professional future.
However the transition to the job market is not a predefined route, but rather one to be built gradually: it requires awareness, appropriate tools and a clear strategy.
For this reason the Politecnico di Torino offers the Career Boost 4Phd, designed to support PhD candidates in building their professional future.
The program provides concrete support to:
✔ Recognise and enhance the skills developed during your Phd
✔ Explore different professional fields and identify opportunities aligned with one’s profile
✔ Acquire practical tools to successfully approach the job market (building an effective CV, job interviews, networking)
✔ Redefine one’s professional identity by gaining awareness of your own value.
This programme does not aim to direct you towards a specific career outcome but rather gives the opportunity to reflect on your future and enhance your skills in the job market: it is therefore suitable for the diverse profiles of PoliTo Phd candidates.
Programme structure:
Total duration: 24 hours
Format: 3 in-person sessions (5 hours each) at the main campus + 1 online session ( 5 hours) + 2 webinairs (2 hours each)
Attendance: you are required to attend all sessions and webinars (calendar below)
At the end of the program you may request an individual meeting with a career coach that will help you in defining your goals or improving your professional positioning.

Credits: 12 hours of soft skills training recognized by the Doctoral School
