Huawei Tech Arena Italy 2025

We are now pleased to announce the launch of Huawei Tech Arena Italy 2025, a new edition of the program open to university students, recent graduates, PhD candidates and post-docs from across Italy and Europe. The goal is to foster innovation and build stronger links between academia and industry by exploring the future of technology and applied research.
This initiative offers participants a valuable opportunity to engage directly with Huawei’s research centers, access targeted technical training and mentorship, and present their ideas to a panel of experts during the final event.

Main topic of the 2025 edition:
Next-Generation RF Technology for Wireless Communication
Available sub-topics:
· Electromagnetic Sensing Solutions and Technological Innovations for Low-Altitude Economy
· Technological innovation of low orbit satellite communication network
· AI-based RF and antenna design

A prize pool of €6,500 will be awarded to the most outstanding projects.

Deadline:

· Pre-registration until October, 26th, 2025
· Project submission open until November 10th, 2025
· The final will be held in Milan, in December 2025

Participation is open both individually and in teams of up to three people, and is intended for:
· PhD candidates who are still working on their research project
· Recent PhD graduates or post-doctoral researchers (within three years of graduation)
· University students and recent graduates in telecommunications-related disciplines
