From electronics to mechanics, from macro- and microfluidics to computer science—disciplines from diverse fields are becoming increasingly interconnected to meet the challenges of modern medicine and biology.
PolitoBIOMed Lab, the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory at Politecnico di Torino, was created in this complex, multifaceted context, fostering an ecosystem where knowledge and technologies converge.
Its mission is to advance cross-disciplinary fields, such as nanosciences and nanotechnologies, which hold the promise of revolutionary breakthroughs in both therapeutic and diagnostic applications.
Goals
- Promote health and wellbeing
- Improve quality of life through innovation
PolitoBIOMed Lab is supported by the PAsTISs Research Infrastructure (Innovative Technologies Park for Health).
Research and innovation infrastructures are facilities, resources, and services used by the scientific community to conduct research and foster innovation.
The Interdepartmental Centre PoliTOBIOMed Lab collaborates with the Regional Innovation Cluster Polo di Innovazione bioPmed.
