The Prevention and Protection Service proposes training and education programs for Polytechnic workers, differentiated based on the type and risk levels of the activities performed.

Workplace health and safety training is aimed at employees as well as other members of the company's prevention and protection system – managers, supervisors, RADRL, RLS, emergency team members – to impart knowledge and procedures useful for safely performing their respective company tasks and for identifying, reducing, and managing risks.

For the use of certain equipment, systems, substances, personal protective equipment, and work procedures, in addition to theoretical training, practical training is provided to teach workers the correct methods of use and safety measures to adopt.

Participation in the courses is mandatory. The summons are made via email.

Convocations for the specific training course for Workers are made by the Prevention and Protection Service following the completion of the general training course in e-learning mode.

Convocations for the Supervisors course are made for the nominated workers; the course follows the completion of the general and specific training for Workers.

Convocations for the information course for users of ionizing sources are made following the segnalation to prep.formazione@polito.it of interested workers by the Managers.
