Admission

This  Master’s Programme is open to a maximum of 25 participants and sets forth specific admission requirements.

To be eligible for enrollment, candidates must hold a full degree in various disciplines, including but not limited to Engineering, Architecture, Geography, Science and Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geoscience, and Computer Science. 

Additionally, prospective participants are expected to demonstrate a proficient command of the English language at a level equivalent to B2 CEFR.

This language proficiency can be verified through a recognized language certificate, as outlined in the list of accepted certificates. This criterion ensures that participants can effectively engage with the program's curriculum.

You must prove your knowledge of the English language* in one of the following ways:

  • a language certificate included in the table below
  • a stamped declaration/certificate on official headed paper, certifying that you have attended at least one school year at a high school in which the medium of instruction is English or you have a foreign high school diploma in which the medium of instruction is English.

  • during the interview with the Selection committee

Applications must be submitted only through the website Apply@PoliTo no later than April 28th 2025 at 2:00 p.m. (Italian time), penalty of disqualification from the selection process.

  1. Politecnico di Torino former students:  log into your personal page at Portale della Didattica, select "Segreteria online" e click on "Apply@polito"; if you don't remember your password, you can reset it at this link
  2. Candidates already registered at Apply@polito: if you already have a username in Apply@PoliTo but you have never been enrolled at Politecnico you have to login with your credentials (username and password). You can reset the password at this link.
  3. Candidates graduated from other universities: register at Apply@polito, you will receive  e-mail with the username and password, click on the link inside for the first login.

To apply:

  • make sure that you meet the admission requirements 
  • fill in each section of the online application form , selecting the level (2nd level Master) and the programme title
  • attach in the section "attachments" the required supporting documents in pdf format. (Supporting documents in English or Italian only)
  • submit your application (save and submit)

  • Valid Identification document (passport for non-EU applicants)
  • Curriculum vitae (CV must include the authorization to the processing of personal data – in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation - EU Regulation 2016/679- and the Personal Data Protection Code, Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 no. 196 and subsequent amendments)
  • for applicants with degree(s) obtained from an Italian Public University: self-certification (“dichiarazione sostitutiva di certificazione” - Art. 46 DPR 28 December 2000, n. 445) in which applicants declare to have obtained both a Bachelor and a Master’s degrees. The self-declaration must include:  name of degree, name of the University, date of degree conferral and graduation final grade, full list of all the exams passed and the grades obtained (this information is required for both degrees).
  • for applicants with degree(s) obtained from a non-Italian University or a private Italian University: official transcript(s), issued by the University of origin, on headed paper, containing the list of all the exams passed and the grades obtained. The transcript(s) must also include the date of the degree conferral. Upon enrolment, the admitted candidates must submit the original copy of the “Dichiarazione di Valore”/“Statement of validity” (related to the Master’s degree) issued by the Italian Diplomatic Mission in the country where the qualification was awarded. If the Master’s degree was awarded by a European university, admitted candidates can hand in the “Diploma Supplement” instead of the “Dichiarazione di Valore”.

  • Documentation concerning other post graduate courses (Master's degree, specialising master's programmes, lifelong learning courses, etc.)
  • Presentation letter (in pdf format, max 1 page)
  • English language certificate: candidates who do not submit a certificate will be interviewed to assess their knowledge of the English language.
  • Residence permit (only for non-EU citizens)

All the required documents, with the exception of the identification document, must be submitted in Italian or in  English.

Attached documents will be verified by the Specializing Master's Programmes and Lifelong Learning and Student Challenge Division. Candidates who do not satify the admission requirements will be automatically excluded from the selection process.

The absence of even one of the above listed documents will result in the exclusion from the selection process.
