Those courses are designed, and delivered, as part of the "Lifelong Learning Initiatives" offer catalogue of the PNRR Innovation Ecosystem Project "NODES - Nord Ovest Digitale E Sostenibile", specifically for the topics of Spoke 4 - Digital and Sustainable Mountain, coordinated by the University of Aosta Valley. The subjects covered have been assessed as capable of generating a significant impact on the territories and industrial systems involved, creating the possibility, through the use of digital technologies, to improve the performance and sustainability of businesses located in mountainous areas.
The Programme
The world is changing rapidly and the ability to anticipate risks and provide effective solutions to face the effects of climate change is more important than ever. The social and economic impacts of climate change have serious consequences on both human beings and the environment, and the need to understand how to mitigate the damages and adapt to them strategically is nowadays a key issue. Those courses aim at providing a first understanding of the climate change impacts and the innovative technologies that will drive the mitigation and adaptation responses to global warming.
