Module Learning Objectives and Skill Acquisition
This module is structured in three parts. The first part concentrates on analyzing the economic and legal framework on which sustainability sets itself. The lectures focus on giving a broad view of how companies use sustainability in their day-to-day operations and the underlying economic frameworks. Furthermore, it will focus on the impacts of climate change and ways to measure such impacts through specific tools. The second part will focus on circular economy and the most relevant related issues, as well as on climate change communication, presenting the main tools used for communicating, a few real cases (eg. the webdoc “Adaptation”) and some important tips for NON professionals. The lectures will be structured as a combination of formal lectures and first hand experiences provided by companies, professionals and journalists. Furthermore, there will be a visit to Monteu Roero to witness a real life case.
