In anticipation of the introduction of AVA3, starting from 2022, the PQA has supported the Quality Assurance (QA) activities of the Doctoral School (ScuDo, a structure dedicated to coordinating activities related to Doctoral Research).
Within the scope of Doctoral QA, the PQA:
- Participated in several sessions of the Doctoral School Council (12/01/2022, 02/07/2023, 04/13/2023, 05/16/2023) to inform and raise awareness among the PhD Program Coordinators about the new features introduced by the new AVA3 evaluation system, focusing on the Key Points of Attention for Doctoral Research;
- In September 2022, presented the template to support the design of new PhD Programs (in italian);
- In early 2023, requested a self-assessment document (in italian) from each PhD Program in accordance with the AVA3 model. This document was also useful during the renewal of accreditation for all University Programs for the 39th cycle;
- Since March 2023, collaborated in the preparation of the satisfaction survey for doctoral students, based on the model proposed by ANVUR, which was administered in November 2023;
- Supported ScuDo in drafting the new PhD Regulations in accordance with AVA3;
- Starting from the academic year 2023/2024, promoted to the School Council, which approved, the introduction of the mandatory compilation of the "Declaration of Intent" (DoI), a document for transparent sharing of the training path planning between the supervisor and the doctoral student.
