The employment distribution of our PhD graduates from the last 5 cycles (30th-34th) shows that they are certainly employed in the aerospace sector but also in a number of other fields. This demonstrates that the PhD programme in Aerospace Engineering is definitely successful in achieving its goals.
Almost all (80%) PhD graduates have found employment in the aerospace sector, both in the field of research (40%) at Italian and foreign universities and research centers, and in important international aerospace companies based in Europe (40%).
The ever-increasing capability of the PhD programme to raise funds from research institutions and aerospace companies (3 fully-funded PhD positions in the 37th cycle, 9 scholarships co-funded by companies for both the 38th and the 39th cycle) is likely to confirm and boost employment opportunities for our PhD graduates.
