Biography

My main scientific interest is the theoretical modeling of condensed matter. In particular I am interested in the microscopic origin of superconductivity (electron-phonon and unconventional) and the study of charge density waves in low-dimensional materials. Main topics are:
- Density Functional Theory;
- Ab-initio investigation of electron-phonon superconductivity and charge density waves;
- Eliashberg theory of superconductors;
- Graphene, 2D materials and 1D materials;

Awards and Honors

  • Seconda miglior presentazione orale nella sezione "Fisica della materia" al 105° congresso della Società Italiana di Fisica (SIF) (2020)
  • 3RD best poster award at the "International Conference on Multi-Condensate Superconductivity and Superfluidity in Solids and Ultra-Cold Gases" (2018)
