Biography

Dario Daghero is Associate Professor of Experimental Physics at Politecnico di Torino since 2014. His research is focused on experimental physics of condensed matter and, in particular, on superconductivity. The specific fields field of expertise are: 1) the investigation of the superconducting gap by means of Andreev relctection and tunnelling spectroscopies; 2) the study of the electronic properties of 2D and layered materials by means of magnetotransport measurements; 3) the modulation of the conduction properties of metals, semiconductors and superconductors by means of ionic gating; 4) the intercalation of layered materials with ions or molecules through the ionic gating technique. He has been teacher of basic Physics (mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism) in various BS courses. Since 2020 he is also teaches Analytical Mechanics and Special Relativity to the students of the BS in Physical Enigineering.
