Biography

Amina Pereno, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Design at the Politecnico di Torino. She has been a Lagrange Project fellow at the ISI Global Science Foundation (Italy) and a visiting researcher at the Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (Sweden). In 2022, she co-founded the Sys - Systemic Design Lab research centre at the Politecnico di Torino (www.systemicdesignlab.it). Her research focuses on systemic design applied to socio-technical systems and their sustainable transition. She has coordinated and participated in many national and international projects (Horizon, Interreg Europe, Erasmus+, PNRR). She is a lecturer of the course ‘Environmental Product Requirements’ for the Bachelor's Degree in Design and Communication and ‘Design About Food’ at the inter-university Degree in Sustainable Design for the Food System.
