Specialist tracks

To boost your training, the Master's degree programme in Engineering and Management is divided into five innovative specialist tracks:

Management of Sustainability and Technology

You will study management and innovation economics, strategic marketing and entrepreneurship that will allow you to contribute to managing and organizing the development of a new product or service within a company, with regard to the best choices for design, engineering of the product and production process / service delivery, strategic and economic evaluation of market positioning of a new product, including the choices for designing a business model and for evaluating a business idea.

 

Innovation management and entrepreneurship

You will study management and innovation economics, strategic marketing and entrepreneurship that will allow you to contribute to managing and organizing the development of a new product or service within a company, with regard to the best choices for design, engineering of the product and production process / service delivery, strategic and economic evaluation of market positioning of a new product, including the choices for designing a business model and for evaluating a business idea.

Decision making for technology and social change

You will learn about the technical-operational, legal and strategic aspects of technological innovation. You will understand its requirements and socio-economic impact at the level of both the business system and the general context.

 

Space Economy

In this track you will learn about the innovative aspects of space systems technologies and the economic spin-offs that may arise from this highly innovative and fast-developing sector. You will be able to evaluate the impacts that the availability of new technologies and data sources can bring about with a special focus on the analysis of the possibilities of services and applications on new companies in the sector or on extensions to other industrial sectors.

Finance

You will study financial markets, different types of financial intermediaries, methods for determining the rating of companies and the pricing of credit risk.
