After graduation

The Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering prepares a professional figure with specific knowledge and skills related to the design, construction, management, surveying, control, and maintenance of constructions (civil and industrial buildings), large-scale works (bridges, dams, tunnels), and infrastructures (roads and transport, water collection, distribution and disposal systems).

Civil Engineers have very high employment rates: 96% at 3 years and 100% at 5 years.Therefore, you have 2 brilliant alternatives:

  • enrolling in a Master’s degree programme;
  • entering the job market after passing the State examination for professional practice and registering in Register of Engineers, section B ("junior" engineer) with support activities in the design, construction, management, surveying, control and maintenance of buildings, large-scale works and infrastructure. Civil engineering graduates can find employment in public and private technical offices, construction companies and engineering firms.
