The degree programme provides a multidisciplinary education in a context where the use of the latest generation tools is highly required both at domestic and international level.

In Year 1 you will take the engineering core subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, and a subject (construction design) strongly distinguishing this programme.

In Year 2 you will study the typical languages of construction engineering, such as the historical language, representation and surveying, architecture, materials technology, technical physics for building constructions and construction science.

During Year 3 you will study construction engineering applications in building technology, geotechnics, digital modelling, building design, building production, as well as economic assessment.

How will you learn it?

The degree programme is Italian-taught; the first year is also available in English

You will attend lessons, join computer labs and take part in group exercises, also thanks to digital communication platforms.

You will apply what you have learned to guided exercises and simple projects developed by simulating the interdisciplinary activities of working groups.

What you can do next

You can continue your studies with a Master’s degree programme in Building Engineering, or decide to work as a junior building engineer. In the second case, you will collaborate in designing complex projects and independently design simple projects, according to the professional constraints established by current legislation. Professional activities, which involve liability towards third parties, can only be undertaken after passing the state examination for professional pracice and enrolling in the Register of Engineers, in section B (junior engineer).
