Twin track master program

Twin Track is a program aimed at students enrolled in Master's Degrees to offer cross-disciplinary and multidisciplinary training opportunities. The program includes:

  • Twin Track Master Program – Completion of two Master's Degrees in 3 academic years, through an interdisciplinary path that connects the content of both degrees. Program starting from the academic year 2025/26.
  • Twin Track Minor Program – Additional interdisciplinary paths offering around 20 credits on specific topics to be completed in one academic year, with flexible teaching methods. This is an extracurricular path and will be recognized with a specific certificate. Program starting from the academic year 2026/27.

The program allows students to obtain two Master's Degrees within three academic years. To participate, students must first enroll in a Master's Degree by choosing a specific track. Upon completion of the first degree, they can enroll in the corresponding second Master's Degree, receiving a 60 ECTS career abbreviation, allowing them to complete the second degree in one year.

  • Energy and Nuclear Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mathematical Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Cybersecurity Engineering
  • Data Science Engineering

How to participate

Requirements

Access is allowed for students enrolled in one of the eligible Master's Degree programs.

Procedure
  1. Access the Teaching Portal: log in using your student ID number.
  2. Submit your application: from the "Active Questionnaires" section, fill out and send the project application.
  3. Project Entry: the Registrar’s Office Unit will adjust your study plan based on your selection.
Deadlines
  • First teaching period: November 30, 2025
  • Second teaching period: March 27, 2025
Attenzione

While waiting for the Registrar’s Office Unit to process the request, it is recommended to fill out the study plan by selecting one of the available tracksfor your Master's Degree program. This preliminary compilation will facilitate subsequent changes once participation in the project is approved.

Important Notes
  • Applications can only be submitted once the enrollment is completed.
  • Access is exclusively via student credentials.
  • Any study plan changes will be made by the Registrar’s Office Unit based on the selected project.

Twin Track Minor Program

The teaching modules for the Minor Programs will be published in early 2026 and will be valid starting from the academic year 2026/27.
