Call for Abstract | ECOMATES Final Conference 2026
The ECOMATES Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network announces the Call for Abstracts for its Final Conference, entitled “Power-to-X for a Sustainable Future”, which will take place at the University of Iceland in Reykjavík from 6 to 10 July 2026.
The conference will bring together PhD candidates, early-career researchers, academics and industry representatives to discuss recent advances, challenges and future perspectives in Power-to-X technologies and their role in enabling a sustainable and integrated energy system. Particular attention will be devoted to the conversion of renewable energy into fuels, chemicals and energy carriers, as well as to system integration, techno-economic assessment and sustainability aspects.
Researchers are invited to submit abstracts presenting original research results, methodological developments or applied case studies related to Power-to-X pathways and their contribution to the energy transition. Contributions from both academic research and industrial applications are welcome, in line with the interdisciplinary and international spirit of the ECOMATES MSCA Doctoral Network.
Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference programme and presented during dedicated oral or poster sessions. The event will also provide opportunities for scientific exchange, networking and discussion with leading experts in the field, within the framework of an EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network.
Abstracts for oral or poster presentations can be submitted through this link.
The deadline for abstract submission is 31/01/2026.
Abstract acceptance will be communicated by the 15/02/2026.
