ApplePies 2025 Conference
The 2025 edition of the International Conference on Applications in Electronics Pervading Industry, Environment and Society - ApplePies will be hosted by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications-DET of Politecnico di Torino, on 11th and 12th September 2025.
The Conference intends to provide an opportunity of reciprocal meeting and knowledge on industrial and research activities for academicians, practitioners, and managers who operate in the field of electronic applications. Industrial liaisons and business-academy dialogue and collaborations are specifically targeted.
Born as the flagship conference of Systems and Applications Area for SIE, by an idea of dear departed professor Alessandro De Gloria, the conference grown in the years and is now an international exchange place for both academia and industry people involved in the development of solutions for problems ranging from health to automotive, computing, and IoT field applications.
Besides scientific presentations, the program includes a tutorial on european regulations involving data collection from IoT devices, and the usage of AI instruments (Friday 12th, 9,30).
A presentation of the SERICS foundation (Security and Rights in CyberSpace) will be shown, as well, describing technical, and ethical challenges related to cybersecurity aspects in current technologies (Friday 12th, 11,45).
