Transformative resilience-based approach in inner area and local communities
PRIN TRIALS - Transformative Resilience for Inner Areas and Local Communities works on Inner Areas, framing them as a reference for Italy's sustainable and resilient restart.
From a critical perspective on spatial planning, resilience needs to oriented towards transformative approach, helping to quickly return to functions, adapt to change, and transform the components that limit the capacity for evolution in response to present and future shocks.
PRIN TRIALs aims to innovate planning guidelines based on the potential of places, establishing territorial development scenarios under the banner of transformative resilience. Seeking to apply the latest research findings on the potential of local biographies and participatory techniques to the Inner Areas of Central Italy, PRIN TRIALs interprets planning by scenarios experiments resilience-in-action, offering the opportunity to anticipate future developments in a multi-risk era.
