Workshop – STRADA project

The workshop, organized by Politecnico in the context of STRADA project, has the aim of discussing with and learning from women with leadership roles in the manufacturing sector. Managers and entrepreneurs will bring their experience and discuss the challenges women face in their professional careers and will provide insight on how to successfully face such challenges. Participants attending in presence will have the possibility of visiting a Manufacturing company in Torino and discussing with top managers how diversity is managed by the organisation. Participants will also have the possibility of discussing directly with women’s associations to build collaborative networks useful for their professional development.

• 10,45 - 11,00: Welcome - professor Arianna Montorsi, Rector’s Advisor for Gender Equality and Diversity;
• 11,00 - 11,15: Introduction - Carolina Torregrosa Gallo, Education Programme Manager EIT Manufacturing;
• 11,15 - 11,30: STRADA project presentation, professor Elisabetta Raguseo;
• 11,30 - 11,45: Women in manufacturing: Facts and figures, professor Alessandra Colombelli;
• 11,45 - 12,15: Inspirational talks with Q&A, Serena Bonfanti (Entrepreneur - F.lli Bonfanti) and Cristina Tumiatti (Entrepreneur - SEA Marconi);
• 12,15 - 12,45: Punch Torino and Bitron experience with Q&A;
• 12,45 - 14,15: Light lunch;
• 14,15 - 15,15: Visit at Punch Torino;
• 15,15 - 17,00: Round table and Networking cocktail with Women associations at OGR – Associations involved: APID, EWMD and STEM By Women.
