Webinar in occasion of the international day of women and girls in science

On February 15^th , at noon the Embassy of Italy, together with the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authorithy (STDF) will held a webinar dedicated to the international day of women and girls in science.
The program foresee the presentation of two succes stories of women in science:

• Letizia Jaccheri - Italian Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and chair of the COST Action European Network For Gender Balance in Informatics (EUGAIN).
• Sanaa Botros - Egyptian Professor of Pharmacology, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute; TBRI, Medal of Science and Arts of the first class and a certificate of appreciation by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic of Egypt, August 2017 and multiple-awarded for her role in Medical Sciences, by the Arab Woman Organization award for Science and Technology 2008, the African Union Woman Scientist.

The webinar will last one hour and will include a panel discussion and Q&A.
