Call for applications | ChallengED, an international entrepreneurship programme
Applications are now open for ChallengED, an entrepreneurship programme offered by Politecnico di Torino in collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
ChallengED is an international extracurricular programme based on the Challenge-Based Learning approach, engaging students in addressing real-world sustainability challenges proposed by spin-offs of Politecnico di Torino. Participants will work on developing innovative solutions while strengthening their entrepreneurial skills. Throughout the programme, they will apply methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup to develop a business model.
The course will be delivered in English over a six-week period, from late September to late October 2026. It includes eight sessions, most of which will take place in person at Politecnico di Torino.
The programme is open to Master's students at Politecnico di Torino. Participants will work in multidisciplinary teams on challenges proposed by university spin-offs, supported by faculty members and mentors. The programme also includes joint sessions with student teams from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, providing opportunities to exchange perspectives with peers from across Europe and take part in shared learning activities.
The programme offers 36 places. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an Open Badge and will be eligible to apply for the recognition of elective credits (CFU) at Politecnico di Torino. Participation is free of charge. Admission is based on the evaluation of a CV and a motivation letter.
