Call for Applications | Eco-Design for Power Electronics – Part 1
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles and applications of power conversion, covering various converter topologies such as DC-DC, AC-DC and DC-AC converters. Participants will explore the characteristics and selection criteria for key electronic components, including semiconductors, inductors, capacitors and transformers.
Additionally, the course emphasizes advanced design techniques, such as thermal management, control strategies and efficiency optimization. Practical aspects of the fabrication and assembly of power electronic systems are covered, with a focus on ensuring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and compliance with industry standards.
