GINSEN Summer School: Artificial Intelligence

GINSEN is a summer programme fully taught in English, organized by Grenoble INP - UGA. This edition on Artificial Intelligence is organized jointly with MIAI. Engage in a unique AI program that covers Machine Learning, Deep Learning, ChatGPT, AI in Health, Frugal AI, Causality, Intellectual Property, Data Mobility, and Consumption Analysis. The programme comprises scientific lectures, labs, facility visits, and extracurricular fun. Students with Python and machine learning knowledge are prioritised.

The programme comprises scientific lectures, lab sessions, visits to high-tech R&D facilities, as well as fun extracurricular activities.

Admission:

This AI edition is open to students at bachelor or master’s level, preferably from computer science or applied maths background. It would be preferable that candidates have knowledge of Python. Having already taken an introductory course on Machine Learning would be considered as a plus.
  • Number of ECTS credits: 2;
  • Please check with your home university if the credits attributed are accepted.
Key dates:
  • Application period: February 19-2024, March 31st;
  • Admission: by April 15th;
  • Program dates: June 28th to July 13th.
Application Information

Students have to:
  • Be at least 18;
  • Have at least an “independent speaker” or B2 level (according to the CEFR standard) in English;
  • Teaching method: in person;
  • Evaluation method: mandatory attendance, plus work form practical sessions;
  • Fees for the two weeks of the programme: 1500 euros;
  • Unite! Offer: 750 euros (50% off for the first applicant from each of our partners, on the basis of "first come, first served").
Fees include:
  • All lectures and practical sessions;
  • Accommodation in Grenoble, 1 private room per student;
  • Lunch meals at CROUS university restaurants;
  • Visits to hightech facilities;
  • Extracurricular activities;
  • Administrative registration fees;
  • Health insurance & civil liability.
