Recent Progress in Dry Friction Damping for Turbomachinery Bladed Disks
The seminar Recent Progress in Dry Friction Damping for Turbomachinery Bladed Disks will be presented on 19 June 2026 at 2,30 pm by Wenjun Wang, Qiutengwen Zhang, Shengshuo Wang, and Tao Chen, researchers from the Lab of Dynamic Design and Smart Structures at Beihang University (China).
Abstract
The seminar will present recent advances in dry friction damping technologies for turbomachinery bladed disks, including innovative anisotropic contact interfaces, friction parameter identification methods, and experimental studies on vibration suppression performance. It will also provide an overview of the research activities carried out at the Lab of Dynamic Design and Smart Structures at Beihang University.
