Online Language and Cultural Competence Courses

Linguistic and cultural diversity are at the heart of Unite! ’s approach to global competence. Global competence means your ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with people from different backgrounds. It is increasingly recognised as an essential skill for today’s graduates.

Cultural diversity also gives you the chance to learn from others. By exchanging perspectives, you can discover new ideas and fresh solutions to shared challenges.

• Finland Studies by Aalto (0 ECTS)
• Polish for Academic Purposes 1 - Written communication by TU Darmstadt (3 ECTS)
• Polish for Academic Purposes II- Oral communication by TU Darmstadt (3 ECTS)
• Megacities - Virtual intercultural simulation game by TU Darmstadt (3 ECTS)
• IELTS Writing Tutorial / IELTS Speaking Tutorial by Politecnico di Torino
• English for academic studies by KTH (3 ECTS)
• Working in virtual teams: Global competence for international professionals by KTH (2 ECTS)

These online courses are open to all students enrolled at any of the Unite! partner universities.
