Pledgers' Share & Connect. Reskilling & Upskilling for AI-Powered Manufacturing
Part of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, a programme of the European Innovation Agenda, will bring together industry experts, companies and institutions to address the challenges and opportunities related to the impact of Artificial Intelligence in manufacturing.
This session is dedicated to discussing how AI is actively shaping workforce development in manufacturing, exploring strategies to ensure adaptability, career growth, and long-term competitiveness in an AI-driven industrial landscape.
The event will be on the 27th March 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at I3P - Politecnico di Torino and will be moderated by Francesca Barisani, Chief of Outreach, EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative
It will be in English, followed by informal networking in English and / or in Italian with experts in the AI and manufacturing ecosystem.
The event will be opened with the institutional greetings from Politecnico di Torino with the Vice Rector for Education, Professor Fulvio Corno, and Professor Emilio Paolucci of Strategy and Entrepreneurship of the Department of Management and Production Engineering, followed by the introduction of Francesca Barisani, Chief of Outreach of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative.
The programme includes numerous speeches by companies and institutions involved in the digital transformation of the manufacturing sector, with a focus on workforce skilling, upskilling and reskilling. Representatives from the IVECO Group, Covisian Group, Altair, EIT Manufacturing, University of Turin, yourscienceEDU, EIT Hub Italy, Politecnico di Milano, Ecosistema Formazione Italia, Miticoro and Trentino Innovation will share experiences and strategies to address the transition to smart industry.
