Mauro Giorcelli is a Physics professor in Politecnico di Torino. He teaches physics 1 and 2 and exercises. He teaches in Italian and English language.

Dr. Mauro Giorcelli, graduated in Electronic Engineering in 2004 and got his PhD in Physics in 2009. Afterwards and up-to-date he acted as researcher in Material and Science Technology Department at Politecnico di Torino (Italy). At the moment he is tenure track holder for associate professor position in Physicsis . He is a carbon material specialist, with a more 10 years’ experience in the field. In particular, he has an extensive curriculum in composites materials. He has published over 70 articles in international journals and they have around 1000 citations. His main expertise is in the field of low cost carbon materials derived by recycled materials, in particular carbon materials derived from biomasses (Biochar). He has a widespread collaboration network in Europe, Asia and Canada for Biochar applications.
