Biography

Fabrizio Sciscenti was born in Termoli, Italy. He received his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2023 with the thesis “Real-time Processing and Classification of Intracortical Recordings during STN-DBS Neurosurgery”. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering and Medical and Surgical Sciences at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy. His research is mainly focused on biomedical signal processing with a particular emphasis on surface electromyographic signal analysis during gait and motor-cognitive dual tasks, to support clinicians in the management of PD patients undergoing Deep Brain Stimulation neurosurgery.
