Biography

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (1988), PhD in Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Systems and Structures (1993), she served as a Researcher at Politecnico di Torino (1991-1998), then Associate Professor (1998-2017) and is now Full Professor (since 2017). She co-founded the Inter-departmental Laboratory of Mechatronics of Mechatronics, where she served as Technical Reference and Coordinator (1993-1996); she was the principal investigator of the Research Group “Design of Powertrain and Engine Components: Materials, Testing and Simulation” (2001-2020) of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering; since 2009 she is the Reference Faculty Member for the Students’ team Policumbent; since 2005 she is an active member of SAE International.
