Biography

Matteo Crachi is a PhD Student at Politecnico di Torino in cooperation with the Italian Space Agency. The main topics of his research activities are related to thermo-mechanical cycling experimental analysis and numerical modelling of L-PBF additive manufactured materials and innovative geometries for liquid rocket engines. Together with common copper alloys and nickel based superalloys, he is focusing his studies on new additive manufactured copper-maraging steel metal matrix composites for space applications.
