Scientific Coordinator: Elisabetta Raguseo
Project Type: Project funded by competitive grant
PoliTO Role: Scientific partner
After a successful inaugural year, STRADA 2 is expanding to increase participation, sponsorships, and ecosystem development. The goal is to establish STRADA 2 as a globally recognised leadership program for women in manufacturing.
New industrial partners on core themes, including KUKA Ireland in Digitalisation, UCD's Centre for New Ventures in Entrepreneurship, and DANA Italy in Sustainability. Geographical expansion aligns with women's associations and entrepreneurial programs across Europe.
STRADA 2 focuses on identifying and developing skills crucial for digital transformation and innovation in manufacturing. Building on 2023's success with two impactful programs and over 150 participants, we've gained interest from major pharmaceutical and automotive companies. Plans for 2024 include a comprehensive scalability plan, and acceleration programme for women enterpreneurs and developing a STRADA technology platform to accelerate growth. The proposal provides added support for female venture builders, with contributions from female venture capital networks and stronger links to existing EIT activities, such as the EIT BoostUp competition and SME-specific funding calls.
