Space for school
Duration: 05/2021 - 04/2022
Scientific Coordinator: Matteo Robiglio
Project Type: Project funded by competitive grant
PoliTO Role: Project coordinator
In this period, characterised by significant challenges but also opportunities for the world of education, the Re-School project aims to provide a practical tool for identifying the potential of school buildings and quickly and concretely assessing possible adaptation and transformation interventions.
Re-school is a web application accessible to all that allows you to:
- look at the school building as a whole and recognise its potential;
- identify the spaces most suitable for transformation and find solutions for intervention;
- build a shared and cross-cutting picture of the needs of each school;
- access a wide range of successful projects carried out in Italy and elsewhere.
Re-school is a project carried out by the Future Urban Legacy Lab (FULL) of the Polytechnic University of Turin as part of the MUR call for proposals – through the resources of the Special Supplementary Fund for Research (FISR) – for the financing of project proposals aimed at addressing the new needs and challenges related to the spread of the SARS-Cov-2 virus.
