Abstract
The purpose of the PORFIRE project is to develop the university-business partnership in economic and academic centers in North Africa (Maghreb) by boosting the knowledge triangle. The approach is to rely on academic activities generating lasting relationships among industries and universities. Three areas are emphasized: innovation, entrepreneurship, and research-action. The focus will be on innovative projects as vehicles for the development of the knowledge triangle to promote the evolution of formal into fruitful knowledge relations involving students, teachers, and company managers. The main expected results are: implementation of a university-industry cooperation dynamics based on innovative projects training of 160 professors creation of 6 teaching modules establishment in each university of an Innovation and Entrepreneurship club development of educational case studies and action-research projects Planned activities to achieve the objectives are: best practice and knowledge base inventory realization training of teachers and students development of university-industry collaborative actions dissemination and sustainability of results quality control and project management
