The European Innovation Council's (EIC) Pathfinder and Transition funding schemes
The European Innovation Council (EIC) aims to identify and support breakthrough and disruptive innovation-based technologies that have the potential to scale up at the European and international levels and thus become market leaders. Through its three funding schemes, the EIC supports all stages of the innovation cycle (Technology Readiness level - TRL scale): from Research and Development (R&D) on the scientific foundations of the technologies, to validation and demonstration of the technologies, to scale-up and market entry in Europe and internationally.
This webinar, taught in Italian, will delve into the first two EIC schemes: the EIC Pathfinder (TRL 1-4) and the EIC Transition (TRL 4-6). In particular, the characteristics of each scheme and the templates for participating in the calls for proposals will be explained, highlighting what is new compared to previous schemes.

THE LECTURER
Alessia Rotolo
Alessia Rotolo is Project Manager and NCP in the EIC and Legal&Financial competence team of APRE. In addition to a degree in Law and one in Economics, Innovation and Management from the University la Sapienza of Rome, she specialized with a Master in International Business from the Catholic University of Milan. She has many years of experience in European research and innovation programs with a focus on innovation and technology transfer aspects. In APRE she provides assistance and cross training on the third pillar ''Innovative Europe'' with particular attention to research aimed at the development of new technologies, technology transfer through EIC Pathfinder, Transition Accelerator tools as well as on Exploitation aspects with focus on Business Model and Business Plan. He has taught numerous courses at universities research centers business associations, aimed at researchers and startups on the presentation of innovation projects in the Horizon Europe program.
