The H2020 Il Trovatore Autumn School on "Development of ATF Cladding Materials" is aimed in particular at doctoral students, graduates, and master’s students, but it is open to anyone curious to learn more on the topic.
The School is organized in the framework of Il Trovatore project, funded by the Horizon 2020 program.
The objective of the School is to share relevant knowledge on Accident Tolerant Fuel (ATF) Cladding Materials, thus providing an overview to participants and making them aware of challenges in the field of materials for nuclear applications. Furthermore, it will be an opportunity to network with researchers, top experts, and enthusiastic students.
LOCATION AND DATES
Torino, Piedmont (Italy), October 26th-27th, 2022.
SITE
The School will be in-person at Politecnico di Torino.
All the lectures and group activities will take place in the Maxwell Conference Room.
It is also possible to participate remotely.
ACTIVITIES
The School will alternate lectures delivered by international top experts in the ATF cladding material field and group projects focused on real challenges.
Furthermore, social activities will be organized to discover Torino and to promote networking between participants.
Programme
TARGET GROUP
The H2020 Autumn School is targeted mainly at students and professionals with a background in engineering and materials science.
However, participants with other backgrounds are more than welcome.
All the lectures and activities will be in English.
PARTICIPATION FEES
The School is free of charge. There are no registration fees.
Travel and accommodation costs are not included.
