CINECUG | "The Circle" by James Ponsoldt
The CINECUG film series, organized by the Equality Committe (CUG) of Politecnico di Torino in collaboration with AIACE Torino, resumes with a new appointment dedicated to the screening of documentaries and films addressing pressing social issues.
The initiative is part of the areas of action of the CUG, which include equal opportunities, gender policies, sustainability, organizational well-being, and the fight against all forms of discrimination. Through the shared viewing of a selected film for each meeting, CINECUG aims to create a space for reflection and open dialogue, encouraging discussion on topics of central importance for both the academic community and society at large.
The second screening of the series will take place on Wednesday, October 8, featuring the film The Circle by James Ponsoldt, shown in its original language with Italian subtitles.
The screening will start at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by an open debate in English, with contributions from Alessandra Colombelli (President of CUG), Tatiana Mazali (professor and coordinator of the Cinema and Media Engineering programs), and Cristina Colet (AIACE Torino representative).
The initiative is open to the entire Politecnico community, with particular attention to international students; for this reason, the event will be held entirely in English and is included among the Welcome Activities.
