Women in Mathematics Day 2025
On the occasion of the International Women in Mathematics Day, the Department of Mathematics G. Peano at the Università di Torino and the Department of Mathematical Sciences G. Lagrange at Politecnico di Torino are organizing an event to raise awareness about the gender gap in STEM disciplines.
During a poster session, several PhD students from Politecnico di Torino and Università di Torino will present their research activities in pure and applied mathematics and related fields, such as data science and computer science.
The event will feature talks focusing on the gender gap in academia, with a special emphasis on STEM fields, by the following speakers:
