The silent conflict. Actors and processes in heritage projects
The lecture intitled "The silent conflict. Actors and processes in heritage projects" with Piere Hebbelinck proposes a reflection on architecture and the political and adm' istrative management of memory through heritage authorities in Europe and Latin America, through specific projects from Atelier Hebbelinck. Conflicts have been a constant for four decades, but not always for the same reasons. We will outline a behavior mapping, propose an expanded conception of heritage incorporating history and memory.
The issue of intangible heritage, in this perspective, will shed light on the practices of the Atelier as the systematic inclusion of historians in each project, including private houses.
Introduced by Matteo Robiglio, professor of Department of Architecture and Design-DAD.
Discussants: Francesca Frassoldati and Manuela Mattone, professors of Department of Architecture and Design-DAD.
