Just the Woman I Am 2023

JUST THE WOMAN I AM (JTWIA) will be back on Sunday, March 5th, with the participation, as usual, of Politecnico di Torino, Università di Torino and CUS - Centro Universitario Sportivo torinese.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, JTWIA consists of an yearly public run - walk organized in coincidence with the Women’s Day. The aim is to collect funds for university research on cancer, promoting prevention, correct lifestyles, inclusion and gender parity.
Your participation will be valuable to sustain health, sport and gender parity. Dont’ miss the opportunity to live the streets full of people moving in a rose-colored river! You will support your health (walking or running for 5km) and university research on cancer. Departure will be from Piazza Castello, Torino, on Sunday, March 5, at 4 p.m.

It is still possible to register individually here, but customized t-shirts are no longer available.

Additionally, if not available in presence, feel free to participate online, choosing your personal 5km itinerary or one among the JTWIA ON THE ROAD itineraries (available on JTWIA website) and sharing your experience on the social media: a way to be “distant yet united” all around the world.
Registration kits and welcome bags will be distributed after February 20th (additional information available once registered).

All registration fees will contribute to research projects and grants, also supporting public training within conferences, meetings, seminars and webinars.

Besides the run of March 5th, JTWIA will also host the prevention and wellbeing village in Piazza San Carlo, Torino: a physical and digital space offering free pre-screenings, consultations, conferences and webinars. It will be active on 3-5 March from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Politecnico's researchers will be in the square every day of the event both at the dedicated booth and at the "Area Incontri" pavilion, where doctors, experts and citizens can discuss health, good lifestyle habits and gender issues. All meetings will be free of charge. Free admission subject to availability.
At the booth, it will then be possible to further explore JTWIA-related issues presented by the researchers with a rich program within the reach of everyone, even the youngest, for whom the research will be declined in a playful way.

All program and additional details are available on JTWIA website.
