Biography

Fabrizio Gullino graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in 2019 with a final project about the “Development of a concept to achieve Euro6d standards for a high performance Spark Ignition engine” after a one-year internship in Porsche Engineering Services GmbH (Stuttgart, Germany). Afterwards, he received a PhD scholarship funded by Ferrari Auto S.p.A. His research activity aimed to perform a comprehensive analysis of different technical solutions for the improvement of the efficiency of Spark Ignition engines. The title of his dissertation is “Comprehensive analysis of Port Water Injection as a key enabler to Hydrogen-fueled high-performance ICE operation under stoichiometric conditions”, and his thesis defense will take place in October 2023. Nowadays He works for Ferrari S.p.A. as a 1D-CFD Engine Performance Analyst.
