Biography

Luigi Borzì (MD) received the B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Turin in 2015 and 2018, respectively. In 2018 he was a Research Assistant at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering, Polytechnic University of Turin and Department of Neuroscience, “Città della Salute e della Scienza”, Turin. Since October 2019, he is pursuing the Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. His research studies focus on the remote monitoring of PD clinical condition using wearable sensors and Artificial Intelligence. His research interests include remote monitoring of PD motor symptoms, automated postural stability and fall risk assessment, and early diagnosis of speech disturbances and sleep disorders.
